    I'm planning on doing the same. Can you share the files for the shroud?

    good on you for adding the fusion link! Many (@WheresWaldo included) appreciate when that is done as it makes modding easier

    Of course, thats exactly how I was able to make the changes easily, it's only fair that I share what was intended to be shared to begin with!

    You have to edit the firmware to change the thermistor type from a TYPE 1 to a TYPE 5

    This line in configuration.h:

    #define TEMP_SENSOR_0 1

    Yup, check out my thingiverse.com/thing:3180056. Just print out my shroud and you are in business. I have been using the E3D v6 clones. The clones vary from 15.88->15.99 mm in diameter. The Robo R2 that I have does not really like anything above 15.93 mm, so you may have to reduce a clone that has too large a diameter.

    Hello,

    So i see no holes in the stl, you use the fan mounted on the hotend ?

    Thanks for the Thingiverse Work.

    Do you have a picture ?

    If you look at the thingiverse picture you can just see that it uses a clip on fan that is standard on the E3D.
    Looking at the picture you can just see the clip on fan that the E3d uses. Purchase a "short wade" version in 1.75 filament. I generally get the 24v version when available for the heater, the fans are always poor in either 12v or 24v and I dispose of them. Here is the last E3D I purchased and you can't beat the price. I am going to start a thread with all of the connectors on the board and hotend. The E3D is longer and depending on your bed setup you may wish to change the code. I have posted code revisions where you can just load the hex file, but if you need it and can not find it I will post it here again.

    Just to be clear that linked eBay version is a clone of the E3D.

    Yes, it is the clone. I go through these things and I want cheap. The throats eventually bend or get stuck in the heatsink. I get about 6 months to a year from a clone running 24/7. Having just switched to hardened steel nozzles, because I am using the micro porous glass beds, I do not have to replace nozzles anywhere near as often. I expect this to extend the life of my E3D's.
