@supercazzola I think you are correct, I believe it was fixed in a newer version of Marlin. I have to remind myself that Robo still uses the buggy 1.1.6

@supercazzola and @WheresWaldo thank you again for the help.
That is the mofset pwm controll that i do use. it does have an led indication that stays solid red.
When i input M355 S0 i get this, still lights are still on:
    Send: M355 S0
    Recv: echo:Case light: off
    Recv: ok

Same as when inputting M355 S0 lights are still on:
    Send: M355 S1
    Recv: echo:Case light: 255
    Recv: ok
    Send: M105

From what I gather, the intensity of the led on the controller you got from amazon should vary with the command. But I have also seen folks on amazon say their controller wasn’t working.
I wonder if you could try another mosfet switch ?

Waldo, remind me, even if you do not compile the firmware, the stock should work ? Or do you have to make changes to the stock to make it work. That may be @BRZSER’s issue

As long as you are using the latest update from Robo you should be able to turn the lights on and off using the intensity parameter. I think Marlin fixed the S1 parameter in 1.1.7 and above. I haven't looked at the stock firmware in so long I don't know what is in it anymore. I am not fond of the Marlin version Robo uses.
