    Hello all!

I am thinking about getting rid of my Robo R2 printer to make some room. Everything works (just replaced the IR sensor in it as it wasn't leveling properly).

I believe I even have a spare hexagon hotend and it has the BuildTak FlexPlate system installed which I really like better than the standard build surface. Also put some LED lights in the top edges of the case (just stick on strips) that are tied in to the board and come on when the printer is powered on.

Let me know if anyone is interested!

I can do that! I'm not 100% certain what a fair price is to be honest, but I saw where someone on here not too long ago sold one for $850 I believe. Considering mine has the FlexPlate I think makes it slightly more desirable (could be wrong haha).

I think $900 is fair considering the FlexPlate is $120 and the Robo R2 is $1500.

I think starting around 900.00 is quite fair. keep in mind a used printer is much like a used car. When I was buying used machines I expected to spend half or less than retail. Be sure to post on craigslist, facebook, letgo etc etc for your local area. last ditch effort would be ebay (at least for me)

Thanks for the feedback! I wasn't 100% what to put the price at, but I though that would be a good starting point. I plan on listing on Facebook/Craigslist. Was trying to avoid eBay on something like this unless that is the only option.

Exactly my thoughts too :D I never sell machines on ebay.

So far no luck. Really don't want to do eBay, but may post it there tomorrow and see what happens. Not sure how that will work for the modded Dreamer though as it's kind of a unique setup. Not sure if it will get enough exposure on eBay to get what it's worth or not.

Guess it can't hurt as long as I put a high enough minimum on it.

    Sure.
The problem with posting for sale items here is that everyone already has at least one Robo :)
So only diggits like @Geof who wants 100's of printers (I DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH TO QUALIFY, yet) will be looking for another.
If you have a local makerspace they there. Always a thought.

Ha, yeah I figured it was worth a shot though.

I have no clue if there is a makerspace, but I bet there is where I am.

Google up MakerSpace and your town you probably have some close by and that would be a terrific place to try.

    Curses! Foiled again!

Seriously tho' There are not as many addicts on here so while a post here is a good idea, you are not as likely to get a 'bite' as other places. eBay is a sure thing, but I hate dealing with them myself (I do and have, but I still hate it).
