    So one of my extruder springs went on a journey. I need to find a replacement. Are the screws, springs and washers for the filament guide documented somewhere? specs, or McMaster Carr or Ace hardware part numbers would be ideal.

    I bought some from Ace to replace them on one of ours.
    I don't remember the specifics, but they are approximately 1/4" springs (diameter) and 1-1.5 inches long. I think I ended up 2 inch ones and just swapped to slightly longer bolts.

    I went to McGuckin today, they are now Ace, and I couldn't find anything close.
    I'll ask over at Robo support and see if they know.

    Robo might have some as well. Get spares :)

    All GregsWade extruders are essentially the same so most parts are interrchangeable. In certain cases the gears are not interchangeable (herringbone gears are not interchangeable with normal ones) but generally all parts are.

    so I had the same issue during replacing the gear and nozzle, and the spring took a leap into oblivion! UNREAL! tore up the whole area with no luck....

    Anyways I need a new spring and would like some dimensions. The link above says they are not available and i need one now! HELP!
