    Hi,
I am looking to make my 2 Robo R1 3d printers independent for a computer by installing a LCD screen with an SD ou USB.

I have looked at about 1 milion videos and tutorials. But it is hard to choose the right screen!

Can someone suggest a GOOD LCD screen that would be easy, dump proof to install?

    Thanks

The XXL LCD Screen is plug and play for the stock Robo firmware. A Full graphics controller is not plug and play but a very easy change to the firmware. Both can be had on places like bangood, amazon, etc fairly cheaply.

    What he said ^^^^^^^^

You still have to open the machine and hook up wires, but the XXL is plug-n-play requiring no software/firmware changes.

What would be a Full graphics controller compared to the XXL LCD Screen?

    Thank you

Most of the videos are for a plug and play screen. But all need a bit of firmware tweeking.

    Thank you

The XXL needs nothing touched in the stock firmware for the R1/R1+
It really is plug and play.

The full graphics one does NOT plug and play you must enabled it in the firmware (and disable the other one)
