I have tried printing a few items but I can't quite figure out the process for Inputing the settings to make the supports easy to remove. I have tried lines and grids but the outside supports.......I just can't get them to come off the print. To any who would help me, I would really appreciate your feedback on my problem.

P.S. I am using Materrcontrol as my 3d printing software. It only has grid and lines as outside support options.

I don't use MatterControl, but it should have something called an Interface Layer or Height, and that is the space between the top of the support and the part of the print it is supporting. Usually incrementing that number will make the supports easier to remove. But be careful, to much space and it won't support anything. Usually try incrementing by 0.02 mm at a time.

    Try a different slicer.
That is one of the features that makes them different.
You may find the default choices for things like that work better in a different slicer,.
