Answered Z Homing Issue on newly updated R1+

    Hey everyone, thanks for your interest in my issue.

    I'm working on my ROBO R1+ and have just installed the BIGTREE SKR 1.3 mainboard with TMC 2208 drivers in standalone mode. The board is running Marlin 2.0 Bugfix. A genuine BLTouch has been mounted and wired up correctly. I've managed to successfully get the printer through x and y homing, but as soon as z starts, bltouch deploys probe properly as expected, I get an error on my discount smart controller asking me to reset the printer. It says:

    Homing failed
    PRINTER HALTED
    Please reset

    I was hoping someone smarter than me could help me get past this point. I will upload my config and config_adv files in case that helps. Thank you in advance to everyone who is willing to offer sound advice.

    Hmm, if you are not in a rush I can dig through that later today hopefully. Not familiar with that mainboard, but perhaps you can capture the output from the GCode terminal when this failure happens?

    Let me try and fire up my Windows VM, I believe I was able to connect via Pronterface a while ago. I'll attempt this and follow up with the results. Thanks, Mark!

    The BLTouch has a few quirks when used on the SKR 1.3, switch the red and brown wires.
