Might try this as a project, replace R2 board with this 32-bit one

    This one is from Biqu and includes the new TMC2209

    Both are around $30 on AliExpress.

    I kind of like this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07P72KGTQ so that you can swap out drivers if you want. Granted it's a bit more expensive but has some good features. IF my board ever quits on me, this is what I currently plan on replacing it with.

    It is less expensive than an Arduino and RAMPS :) (at least most combination kits)

    @albert3d I have that board too, but an all in one solution would make it about $40-60 cheaper than buying the 4 driver boards with the board you pointed to. Give me more money to build an adapter cable to the R2 wiring harness.
