It an R1 but could be a PLUS, the Firmware version doesn't tell us anything since Robo renumbered the Open Source Marlin firmware versions. A picture would be nice.

You probably can't post a photo here until you get a few more posts.
If you can take pictures of the spot where the threaded Z rods go below the bed and post it somewhere online
(https://imagur.com for example or flickr) we can tell you exactly which model it is.

    R1... not the R1+

There are a couple of Community versions on here, look for the sticky thread on Marlin 1.1.9

Yep, that is the R1 or an upgraded (replaced the bed and rails) beta.
I'd assume it is the R1 and go with that version of the firmware like @WheresWaldo suggested.
If the Z steps are wildly wrong using the R1 version then go for the firmware with 5/16" rods (upgraded beta).

Of course if you are serious about:

Then you will need to update the Z steps in the firmware regardless to match your rods and if you go with the Full Graphics LCD that needs firmware tweakage as well.

An upgrade to lead screws is one of the better ones you can do. The threaded rods on early R1's where not very accurate, nor very straight either, but they were cheap. Your printer will either have 5/16" threaded rods or 8 mm threaded rods and the steps for Z are different for both. The 1.1.9 Marlin files here have comments in the steps section to tell you which line to enable and disable to select the correct number of Z-Axis steps for various configurations. All else remained equal for every version of the R1 series of printers, if I recall correctly.
