Flexible filament is different and usually, at a minimum, requires much slower print speeds.
I have not done flexible on the R2 so I will leave that to someone else to address directly.
I have done them on the C2 and it is not wildly different.

If it is actual ninjaflex then you REALLY need to print slow.
That stuff is hard to do

PLA is not flexible, as in it is a rigid plastic. It can be branded as flexible in the sense that it is versatile. Are you really asking about FLEXIBLE filaments or are your speaking of versatile PLA?

Yes, The PLA is not flexible, as it is made of Polylactic Acid it has the plastic features in it but it is not that rigid. Flexible filaments are TPU / TPE so they can be better used.
