Hey guys I am making a bed replacement for my R1+. I plan on using this method.

Bed Heater - Installing SSR & PID Control Instructions

I have the Glass and the magnets. But I need a heat pad. I went poking around but can find one that will work, or I’m just over thinking it. I was wondering if anyone had a heat pad they would recommend I use?

Are you planning to use the same internal power supply or are you planning to power the heat bed from a separate supply (or via A/C)?

The internal power supply has about 140watts free that you can use to power a heater with. No more.

I think I'll go with this bed from AliExpress[IMG]

it's listed at 12v and 120W and the dimensions are 220mm*280mm*3.0mm. I also found 3M adhesive sheets and Silicone sheets to go over it. I just don't want to sink money cash into this project by getting a new PSU.

What do you guys think? does it need to be 140w or will 120w work? I know that the OG bed uses 140W for power.

anything less than 140w will work as far as the power is concerned. 120w will just heat a bit slower.
