ROBO R2 Uptown board

    Hello - Having heard the standard "no spare parts" from Robo support, I'm hoping someone out there might have a schematic of the Uptown circuit board (not the general wiring/component diagram). I've reached the limit of what I can do with a soldering iron making repairs and would rather spend additional time just making a new board that I'd be able to service myself.

    I'd be glad to compensate for your effort.

    Thank you - that's very helpful. I spent some time mapping the uptown to downtown connections, but just did it by numbers - I'll convert to a schematic as you did and post.

    Pin-out for the uptown to downtown ribbon connector [ J6 on the version 2 of the uptown board]

    Starting with pin 1 (square pin on the PC board underside) :
    1. IR sensor
    2. IR sensor
    3. IR sensor
    4. +12 Volts (shorted to pins 5 & 6) [ Note: this + 12 supply is wired to all 3 fans. The Extruder cooling fan return is hard wired to the ground (Pin 8 )]
    5. +12 Volts (etc.)
    6. +12 Volts (etc.)
    7. PWM driven return for the cooling fans (shorted to pin 9)
    8. Ground for +12 Volt supply (shorted to pins 10, 12, and 14)
    9. PWM driven return for the cooling fans (shorted to pin 7)
    10. Ground for +12 Volt Supply (shorted ...)
    11. Unknown (probably not used)
    12. Ground for +12 Volt Supply (shorted ...)
    13. Thermistor signal going back to Marlin board (based on above schematics)
    14. Ground for +12 Volt Supply (shorted ...)

    The voltage on pins 7 & 9 will depend on the percent of speed the fans are set to.
    • 0% around 11.6 V
    • 50% around 4 - 5 volts
    • 100% near 0 volts

    Thanks! I was having a problem with some of the other info, and I think this will fill in the missing blank. (main issue was I could only get one of the side cooling fans to work)
