New to the 3D scene and picked up 3 of these. The problem I am currently having is this:
The printer connects and I can get it to move using the buttons on the controls. I am using the MC program by the way. But when I give it something to print it just sits idle. Please help.

Need a bit more details there.
One suggestion would be to try another slicer/host program.

We also will want the output from the gcode console when you are trying to get the printer started so we can see what the printer is saying.

Repetier host, Cura, there are a number of free alternatives.

Which version of Matter Control are you using? What kind of numbers (temperature) do you see for the extruder & print bed? Are they reaching the target temperature?

The only thing I could find is 1.5 so I am guessing that’s their version of MC I am using. If I use the preheat function the temps rise to where they should be.
Also this may be a dumb question if it’s a software issue, wouldn’t all my Robos not work? I have one that will print. The other two won’t. But I am using the same computer and software or all of them.
I will try to get the Gcodes to you guys this afternoon as well as trying different programs/slicers.

So one computer is controlling all of the printers. Did you check to see if the com ports are set correctly for each printer? Upgrade to version 1.7.5 from version 1.5.

I hooked them up o e at a time. Not all together. Sometimes when I hook similar items via usb ( like a usb microphone) the Mac thinks it’s the same thing. Is it a straight up update? Or do I have to use another program to update MC?

You have to download it, and install it manually. The automatic update will automatically install version 2 which is completely different.

Is the Sd card formatted (FAT32)?
This sure makes it look like the SD card is wacky:

    <-echo:SD init fail
    ...
    WARNING: Write Failed!
    Can't access 'print_log.txt'.

Did you check the internal wiring connections going to the card reader?

Maybe the card reader went bad? Unplug it then see if you still get errors.
