Do we have an official instructions available to us to replace the lead screw? I am getting some wobble and have ordered a couple new ones from partsbuilt.

    Thanks

Just make sure what you get from PartsBuilt is R2 leasdscrews, not R1+ leadscrews :)

Already looked through the maintenance. Nothing there. The video joel put up said someone sent him instructions. So I thought they would have been posted by now.

No, and with Robo effectively dropping direct support for everything other than the E3... well, you can try contacting them if you need specific instructions. It may not be too difficult to work out on your own and we can try to assist. I would suggest pictures as you go and a thread to document it.

I don't have an R2 to guide you, but it is not wildly different than the C2,.

To remove the lead screw I removed the black base at the bottom and the snap on cover, it pops out with scary force on mine. Then remove the 4 screws that hold the plastic mount and z motor in place and you should be able to spin the leadscrew out. Maybe an hour of fiddling to get it in and out. Be sure your bed is as high as it can go before you start or it won’t come out. While doing this mind you don’t mash the electronics with the stepper. Hope that’s helpful in someway

Its no problem. I would like to have a manual, but I am sure I can figure it out without one. Just takes a bit longer. I will try to document it when I do this.
