Hello, how can you see if you have the 2017 model or the 2018? Thanks.

For the R2 I don't think it makes any difference, for the C2 the early ones had a GPIO / SPI LCD and later ones had an HDMI LCD.

Not as far as I can tell, the only upgrade was a RoboOS upgrade (Software). No hardware revisions for the R2

Was the v2 heater bed ever sold stock with the R2? That is the only upgrade I can think of that would be a hardware revision.

Forgot about the bed, I think that was the only upgrade, but not a 2018 model as suggested, The pogo pin board was a dumb idea.So if you actually have a connector on the bed and not just contact pads then you have the only upgrade ever done.

Robo R2 version 2018 has a fanless power block four pin, the newer print bed, and maybe a more sensitive touch screen.

Be hard pressed (get it?) to source a less sensitive one ...

I am pretty sure the R2 screen never changed. There is a thread on here about how to swap in a Capacitive touchscreen (I have done this mod myself) and that makes the user experience better. Still a lot could have been done if only Robo was more open about their software and firmware. Most of the info provided here is a result of users figuring out what made the printers tick.
