Unanswered ROBO 3D R1 Plus Any Good?

    Thinking about getting one of these. I'm curious what the general attitude is towards them in the community here. I'm coming from a Monoprice Maker Select v2.1 if that helps. I have a bad back and got tired of having to level the bed so often.

    It is workable and basically open source since it is nothing special. But it better be cheap, because there is no official support and it has long been discontinued. The only thing left is this community.

    It is a bit more complicated mechanically than the MonoPrice you are using, but can be a solid printer.
    It is as @WheresWaldo pointed out all open source parts/firmware so maintaining it yourself is doable if you are handy mechanically and with basic electrical. If you are on FB catch the community there as well (Robo3D Owners)
