@Geof , @mark tomlinson , @WheresWaldo and anyone else: Aside from resin printers, in your experience, What would be a good non-Robo, consumer grade printer to consider? Small and Large volume printers, Cartesian or Delta.
I'm thinking of an "out of the box" printer - ready to use.

Either a Cartesian or CoreXY would be my suggestion.

I have a couple of those (MonoPrice and FlashForge) that are simple to setup and use -- they are not very big (smaller than the R1 for print area) and we have a delta (SeeMeCNC) that is 12 inches round by 3.5 feet tall for print area.

I really can't recommend a delta for anybody unless you want to learn it and experiment. They can be workhorses, but out of the box you are probably going to be doing a lot of tweaking :)

Some of the best out there the Prusa machines, yeah -- expensive, but totally worth it.

Is Cartesian a brand or style?

The key difference in the Robo and the delta is that the Robo uses Cartesian coordinates and the delta uses polar.
I love watching a delta at work, but they are not fun to troubleshoot :) If the delta had been my first printer it would also have been my last (and only).

I can’t speak for machines I haven’t used but cost wise the creality machine are highly spoke of. I have a cr10, decent machine but limited to pretty well 60-70C bed. I’ve heard the ender series is better but smaller.

I guess what are you looking to spend and what are your print needs
