Thingiverse.com broken

    Looking for a way to notify the thingiverse.com people their site is apparently broken. "Things" do not stay up, just a "something went wrong" message.

    In the Thingiverse group section there is a forum feedback section. A lot of people have been posting their issues for months in that section. Their software has been giving them trouble for a long time.

    It is a free service by MakerBot (and cost them a lot of money for bandwidth)
    Not surprised that they have gotten enough traffic to have issues.

    Because it is not a direct revenue stream they probably are not horribly motivated to spend more on it :)

    I received a notice from Thingiverse saying they had performed a database upgrade and it broke the site but that they were working overtime to repair the corrupted database and indexes and hoped to have it working better than ever very soon.
