Was curious, my hex hotend broke because the extruder part that threads into the heater block (from the opposite end of the brass nozzle) actually managed to strip the aluminum. Not when I installed it, but apparently with use.
I don't mind giving partsbuild the $50 for a new hotend assembly, but wondered if there was alternate sources for just the heater block ??
I dislike the hex hotend so much.

Without specs on the real hexagon parts (mostly size and thread for the heater block) and this one to compare, can't say for certain, but for that price ... I'd give it a whirl. Most hotends are using the same bolt/thread sizes for the components. Since some like E3D publish detailed diagrams and blueprints...

They want 10 bucks to ship a 14 dollar item. If you buy two, the shipping goes to 18 bucks... still cheaper than other solutions. May buy one just to see...
