Hello everyone, my printer has a problem in the Y axis, it moves in the same direction when I guided it to the positive side as the negative, I already checked the cables and everything is fine, the motor works and it worked well with the Marlin 1.9 , could you give me advice on how to fix the problem.

    What changed?
Does it work with the stock firmware?

the stock programming worked for a long time, then I had to change the arduino and ramp 1.4 of the printer, so take advantage to update the firmware, accommodate the programming according to the videos of novice expert, and it worked perfectly, recently the program that I use "matter control" had an update and after that started the problem, already reinstall an older version of program but it remains the same.

well try another host program to rule out that. Repetier Host or Cura or anything else really just to test it.
It sounds like you may have a hardware issue like a stepper driver board misbehaving, but rule out the software first.

Sorry about the watermark, use a free editor, switch to the cure progra, and on the engine controller use the A4988 and also replace it with a new one a few days ago.

What happens when you home the printer after starting it up? Does the Y home correctly?
(HOME is the front of the printer)

The reason I ask is because until an axis hits the home sensor/switch it will not move any direction other than towards 0 (home)

Um... that is not home. Not the correct home at least.

Home is X/Y/Z all at zero which in your picture/video should be the left hand corner at the front.

Once it homes you should be able to move any axis + or -
Maybe your Y home is not triggering correctly?

When you home it, open a GCode terminal and send this to the printer (and post the results):

    M119;

    documentation over here: https://marlinfw.org/docs/gcode/M119.html

In this case, do you need to camouflage the endstop? and if so, which one does the printer use?

Not sure I understand the question.
The printer has 3 sets of endstops. all at the HOME or zero position of each axis (X/Y/Z)

    1 for X,
    1 for Y and
2 for Z (one on each side of the crossbar)

When you issue a home (the GCode for that is G28) it should go to X = 0, Y = 0, Z = 0 (or with all of the endstops reading triggered.

All the endstops are MIN stops, not MAX -- there are no axis MAX endstops

On this style printer HOME is the only position that the firmware can "see" or know about.
Everything else is calculated from the home.
    X MAX = X home + X SIZE
    Y MAX = Y home + Y SIZE, etc

Your Y min is showing triggered so I suspect it is actually tripping the Y home switch. It is just odd that it is not leaving the X axis at home...

As I can solve the problem of ENDSTOP Y ?, the x-axis works properly, the mechanical sounds are generated by the bed when you want to keep going up in Y.

Well the Y endstop appears to be working.
Move the print head to the middle of he carriage manually and rerun the M119 command.
    See what they read then.

Move it all the way to the left front corner and do it again and see what they read.

Exactly which model do you have? We need to sanity check that you loaded the correct firmware...

I already did the tests I pass the results, but the results are the following, in the first test with everything to the center all were displayed open, in the second test only the z axis appeared open and the others closed.

Then the switches are working correctly.

Does it behave the same with different slicers/host programs?
If the answer is "yes" then try reinstalling the stock firmware (1.0.x) and see if it still fails.
It is not likely to be a mechanical or electrical issue -- one of the software layers is failing (either the host program or the firmware)
