This is my carriage rebuild kit. I use motor quality flange bearings and 8x11x30 sleeve bearings. I like GST3D for carriage parts as the plastic is very strong. I included a cura profile, just change the extension in Carriageparts.stl to CarriageParts.curaprofile.

I have improved the bearing block and cap so that tightening the 6mm shaft lock screw does not push the 6mm shaft. The bearing blocks are designed for open loop belting that is 1.30 mm to 1.45 mm thick. You must make a hole in the carriage in two spots to pass the 6mm shaft through.

I made the 6mm hole tight and run a cheap 6mm reamer through it for best fit.

If you are still using Robo shafts get rid of them and buy hardened shafts.

The spacers all have their location printed on them so you can easily reassemble.

Print out the parts and buy the bearings and screws. When your bearings go replace the entire carriage.

The print head had some play in it. I put in polymer bearings first but they are too tight and give the steppers too much resistance. I then put in THK LM6LUU bearings from Partsbuilt.com. That got rid of all of the play in the print head without changing how easily it moved. When doing a rebuild I would use the THK bearings.

Can you post screenshots of the 3d assembly to more easily see how it all goes together?
