    Hello;
    I'm refurbishing a Robo 3d r1.

I notice if I do a Home example X axis
It goes to home but then after a few seconds it start to squeal, you can feel the stepper vibrating.
It will stop it I press "release"
    Same for the Y Axis.

I found out you need to hit the X then Y before you do a Z axis home. so while the Z is moving down the
X and Y are making noise.

Shouldn't the steppers be off after it finds home?

Maybe this is normal, but wanted to check.

Didn't see this type of problem when I search the forums or on-line.

    Thank you
    Kosmo

Check your endstops are getting activated. Steppers run HOME until an endstop trips. Each one will STOP after it homes regardles of the others.

Yes, that they are, they were just making noise after. I adjusted the drive current on all drivers and that took care of it.
    Set all to 0.6V .
Other issues were Heater stuck on, replace Heater FET on ramps board.
Y Axis Stepper was not smooth. replaced motor.
After calibrating the Z-offset I was able to print the calibration circle.
This printer is now ready to print some "Stuff" Im adding on XXL LCD to I will start with a case.
(yes I had to recompile the firmware to get the LCD to work)
