Solved Prusa Slicer "adaptive Cubic" infill with R1

Any experience here with using Prusa Slicer 2.5.2 "adaptive Cubic" infill?

It just makes a mess, in my testing.

 

I've found a partial answer in their documentation which suggests the cubic and adaptive cubic are somewhat problematic for some uses.

I found even with an normal GRID pattern there were issues, which were addressed by slowing the infill speed from 100mm/sec to about 60mm/sec.
