Solved Does G28 Remove the bed level settings?

I'm trying to get my printer to auto level before heating.

So I did a start script that homed, then auto leveled, then raised 5mm then homed again then raised 5mm again...then waits for bed heat but the Z axis adjustment I normally see don't work and make no adjustments.

So I'm wondering if G28 blows out the auto level adjustments that it just took? if you G28 after auto leveling?

 

Well sorry for all my posts, but yep G28 does blow out the auto level settings and the Z makes no adjustments for leveling if you G28 after auto level sequence.

Just did a test.

 

Correct. A G28 will define entirely new coordinates for the system so the G29 results go with it.
