    Daniel,
Don't worry about it as we have put in room for smaller and larger parts, We have a set amount of margin and shrinkage wont be a problem. Especially with your part. If you are still worried about it you can email me and I'll get you the dimensions.

I got mine printed over the weekend! It had a small blemish at the top that I am going try and smooth out, but otherwise came out great!....

I think it will be super cool, if you can put front, side image of Robbie and show which part is done or assigned.. plus then I kind also know where my piece fits.

Also for some of the parts depending on where they will go a lower infill will help save plastic.

    Magnumr, great idea.

We are going to design a graphic showing where each piece goes! And as soon as Robbie is finished, we will post tons of pictures highlighting all the parts!

Thank you all who have sent out emails offering to help. If you know anyone else who would like to help out please have them email me! Lots of parts left still!

Also a big thanks to everyone who has emailed me and is printing parts!

Just out of curiosity, how will you guys be assembling the parts that are sliced? For example, the part I printed appears to be a segment of a finished part, would these be assembled with a glue/epoxy? or nuts and bolts?

Also, my part is on its way and I will shoot you another email.

Are you seasoning your extruder? It might be that the extruder is clogging up and not letting the filament flow freely... You can download and print an oiler that you stick a sponge in with a small amount of vegetable oil to keep filament from sticking to the sides of the nozzle. You might also want to take the nozzle off and clean it out before trying again.

I did run oil through my printer right before I started this print, but I currently do not use an oiler, but i will when I get home, (I never took that as being issue as it printed well for more than 75%) please lets continue trouble shooting here http://community.robo3d.com/index.php?threads/help-me-fix-my-print.6606/

I do not want to take this thread off topic.

I may not be able to participate. The linear stepper upgrade appears to be unable to hold the lead screws straight, as they are wobbling further off center from the base of the rod with every print and the resulting parts are quite frankly looking like utter shit.

Currently looking into another source for integrated leadscrewsteppers but at this point the robo is dead in the water.

hey harry, just out of curiosity, there is a small portion of what appears to be another piece included on my part, if I print with a .4mm nozzle it shows up but with a .6mm nozzle it doesn't, it appears to only be one layer in print preview using .4mm nozzle.
[IMG] on the right hand side, will this be a issue if it is not printed on should I try to have it printed? it almost looks like when you sliced the model into all the pieces it was just a hair off.

They just cut those leg pieces wrong. They all have it and won't really make a difference on assembly
