Hi there, I just received my Robo 3d plus+ and have started a test print, all is going well. but i can't find any info on what i need to do once it has finished printing.

    - how much time should i wait before removing print from plate? (i added the glue stick)
    - if i want to turn off the printer, do i need to remove the filament from extruder?
    - can i turn off the printer when i'm done printing or do i need to wait a certain time?

is there any documentation or best practices?

    Any help or answer appreciated

    Thanks

    Kris

You can take the print off right away if you'd like, or wait till it cools down. Either way has worked fine for me.

You don't need to remove the filament to turn it off, just power it down whenever you want.

Search around on this site for best practices. Print an oiler (search for that on this forum). Have fun. To remove filament, make sure to heat the extruded to the same temp you print at. Remove the two screws for ease of filament access. Ask lots of questions on this forum, everyone is ready to help. Again, have fun. You'll have lots of failed prints, but that's part of the fun of learning. Welcome!!

    Hey Kris with a K,

I find it easier on larger prints to let them cool down before attempting to
remove. Little prints I'll normally give them a scrape right away and they
    will pop off.

I leave my filament in when I turn off (which is rare, usually running 24/7).

    As suggested, print an oiler.

    Other great mods:

    - Spool holder - desktop style (I no longer mount to top)
    - Feet/Risers
    - Quick Change Filament Mod
    - Wire Chain Mod

When you got some spare cash, grab a XXL LCD. I recently got mine and it
    was a great investment.

Any questions, just ask away plenty of help around here.

    Another,
    Kris
