Just wondering what I can do to stop these bubbles in PLA? My recipe in Mattercontrol is: Quality High, 15% infill, Curaengine, Extruder 220, Bed 67, on tape with Glue stick and Aquanet, Thanks this was to be a finished smooth side. It was a 16 hour project that is 2 inch tall

Looks like you need more layers in top layer thickness

add a few top layers. A good rule of thumb is about 1 to 1.2mm on the top. Look into your settings.

There are a lots of variables so feel free to modify each settings to see what they do (print speed, temperature, extrusion multiplier etc)

I believe this is called "pillowing" and is a sign the print needs more shell layers for that particular plane

Thanks for the suggestions. I have been very cheap with my filament but I want a detailed project, I am going to increase the top level and infill

I've had great luck with cheap filament just takes time to get them all dialed in. I use everything from foxsmart(17/kg) to colorfabb (38.99/750g) and given enough adjustments I can do just as well finish quality on both.
