Unresolved Ringing on models.

Hey guys! I've noticed ringing covering my models. (This thing: http://support.3dverkstan.se/article/23-a-visual-ultimaker-troubleshooting-guide#ringing). The vertical lines are present over the entire model, as if the printer is stopping and starting instead of moving smoothly.

I've turned the acceleration down from whatever the stock is (9000?) to 600 as per a suggestion here on the forums. It hasn't changed anything so should I go lower? Or is something else causing it?

I print with PLA at 195C and 20mm/s. Sliced with S3D.

 

Always USB, but I'm hoping to move to using Octoprint soon so it'll be from the SD card slot on the raspberry pi.

It looks way to regular to be an communication problem imo
could also be some kind of resonance thing from somewhere or just something with the model itself. Have you had anything like that with other print.

I agree with your resonance theory, Janot. The printer is currently on a dresser that is on a soft surface. The soft surface allows the entire thing to vibrate. I assumed it wouldn't cause harm because all the components are vibrating the same amount. Might have been a dumb assumption, though! Hopefully I'll be moving the printer somewhere else soon and I can test it out on a solid base.

Resonance is most likely the answer just very peculiar
