Unanswered Err: MINTEMP

    Thermistor and heater cartridges can be wired any way you want. Since they are simple devices. As you have found our it doesn't matter how they are wired. So the issue must be somewhere else. If it is reading 0 then there is either a broken wire or a direct short.

    I unplugged my thermistor yesterday while readjusting my hot end and my display showed "Err MINTEMP" so it means the Ramps can't read your thermistor. Check for broken or disconnected wires or incorrect connector placement on the Ramps board.

    Does the thermistor end just pull out? I have my prev one spare that I could use to test it?

    There is a set screw and the wires are very fragile, be careful
