Not sure if this may be the correct area to post. But here goes....

I have a R1+, using red T-Glase. When printing on tape or glase, It doesnt really stick and bunches up at the extruder.

    Settings are for temp

    240 Ext.
    78 Bed

Not sure what my speed should be, I am using simplify3D and this is a brand new printer. :)

I have had great success with glue stick on glass bed. 215 for extruder. First layer should be slow.

Did you have a glass bed temp? Can you be more specific?

I'll have to check the bed temp tomorrow. My printer is in my shop and I don't recall offhand. I can send you more detailed preferences as well

It would be most appreciated, I am not new to 3D printing too much, just T-Glase, and its my first attempt.

Is that the only filament you have tried?

If its your first prints, and its just balling up, my first guess would be the Z height offset for auto level is too high.

I havn't tried TGlase, but PLA/PETG for me sticks to a plain glass bed if the auto level and z height is working properly.

Are you using matter control? ( I ask because I have no idea how to adjust the Z height auto offset in that.. I used matter control for about 5 minutes a year ago )

    TGlase is PETT

240 is the nominal temperature for it, but you will want to experiment with it to find where the sweet spot is for you.
I have printed it OK as much as 10 degrees less.
I have used 60-70 for the bed though so you might want to try a bit hotter.
I have the first layer underspeed set for a bit slower on that as well.

This is why comparing print temps is a fools game.
You need to run the tests on your machine to find the best numbers for every spool :)

Yeah I got the extruder looking good, I just wanted to know how to get it to STICK! Lol. Ive had someone suggest to me double sided tape, I was curious where in Simplfy3D I could change the speed on the first layer and so on.

I think I'm the only one that gets along with matter control.

And all you did was use elmer glue stick on the plate? Any temp on that? What is the max I should take my board to?

Glue stick and 70 degrees on bed temp. 30% for first layer speed

Yeah I will need to dig in the settings for to set the first layer to print slower, so your speed averaged from 30-40 mms?

Ah thanks Mark, I was looking for it last night and must have missed it. I think the other settings are easier to find that he has displayed in that screenshot for Matter Control.

And once I get home from work, I will try the suggest temp for the bed, or the average and use some glue. :)

I don't recall TGlase being exceptionally hard to get stuck (the opposite really, getting it off the bed was the challenge).
    Good luck :)

I will attempt it again tonight, with the glass and with the double sided tape, and will report back my results.
