Unresolved E3D v6 Torubleshooting

    cdc0b177e364a27dd82738d11c70722b.png Hey guys, i just installed my new e3d v6 hotend and got it to what i thought was working order, but when i started my print it looked like this, how can i fix this issue?

    That looks like either the e3d is wiggling and not tight or possibly assembled wrong... maybe a partial jam?

    Since you appear to be printing the E3D quick-release plate, are you still using the original one with the E3D hotend? The mount on the v6 requires a thicker plate, so the plate for the hexagon is too thin and wouldn't hold the v6 hotend securely.

    I wound up changing my hotend before I had the thicker plate printed, but I just added layers of blue-tape to the existing plate until it was thick enough to hold the v6 securely, printed the plate and it came out fine.
