Answered Adhesion issues

    Hello,
    With my Robo R1 Plus, i am having addhesion issues. I have tried tape, glue, and hairspray. None of the stich to PLA.

    You'll need to look at your z offset and play withthatnumber until you find what works for your machine

    I don't use matter control but when I did there are big buttons that say offset I think on the main page, .8-1.1 I think. If your printing USB hit a smaller number to go closer then press print. I believe that's how you go about it for that slicer.

    Geof and Mark,

    On this topic, with the LCD controller how do I set the Z offset? It starts at .50, won't go any lower...

    I dont know. I set mine through the start up script in s3d and havnt needed to adjust it on the fly.

    Why do you need/want to adjust through the controller ? Youve peaked my "im gna need this" bug lol

    The slicer passes this on, but then there are those "oh, s#13t moments where you see your filament dancing in the air...:)

    I press stop print lol.typically when it does that to me it's an auto level switch out of whack so I know to check the auto level :). I know not an answer lol.
