This is one of the biggest print I have done with my Robo3D... a 8"x8"x8" tortoise house, and using the coarse setting, the print came out very nice. This R1 Plus model has become my best robot buddy or BRFF... ^_^

Here is another turtle shelter I had printed. The size is 7"x7"x3.5", and printed with Hatchbox wood PLA.

I've also added some 3D-printed accessories like wood sign and mushrooms...

Testing it out with a real tortoise... ^_^

A recent project for a midnight in wonderland theme party.
Part from thingiverse - the steampunk goggles,
Part made from foam - the hat with finishing with rub-n-buff
Part ground up design and manufacture; the led lighting on the side and and the madness gauge.
Very proud of this. Modelled in Fusion 360 from scratch; uses a small stepping motor, and Arduino Trinket to control a random level of madness and the light coming on and off.

I think this is the finest piece of work I've seen yet. Nice job.

I´m currently printing the R/C Spitfire from 3DLabPrint:

    https://3dlabprint.com/index.php?id_product=1&controller=product

As they say, they have receicved so far only good results using PLA - I´m going to proof that PETG will work the same, or even better:)

The first days I was now tweaking my S3S print settings to print perfectly and with good single perimeter layer bonding the first wing and elevator parts.

I was looking for a place to post my prints. 3 colors one print and this was before the upgrade with the pause function in matter control

3D printed Spitfire wing. 8 single parts glued together. The wing shell printed with only one perimeter...
Now printing to Spitfire fuselage and remaining parts and hope to fly it soon at 150 km/h level flight, using a 6S Lipo :)

All this stuff is mostly straight off the printer supports broken off, no real clean up has been done to them.

Been meaning to upload these for some time. This is a dragon priest mask from Skyrim, printed in copper... It's expensive, hence the low quality. I buffed the print with some steel wool, then oxidized it with a mixture of cleaning vinegar, ammonia, and salt. I got the model from thingiverse and edited it within 3ds Max to get it to fit my face. Though that isn't me in the final photo, that's a co-worker wearing it but thought it looked pretty creepy on him!

Pushing the limits of my R1+ by printing this beautiful model of a Suryavarman Bust at .05mm layer height (50 microns) and 0% infill. I'm happy to say that it turned out really well and with minimal supports. Easily the best quality print I've done on the printer.

This is the largest print I've done to date. My daughter and her fiancé. Scanned them in with the Sense hand held scanner. Just under 6 inches tall. Just plain white PLA material.

My most recent print - a Viking brooch by Prot0typ1cal from Thingiverse. It was an experiment in PLA with Swellegant metal
    coatings and patinas.

Bike n boy.jpg This was a project for a guy here in town. Wanted a 3D print of his son for the kids mom. I didn't know how the bike pose would turn out (future reference if you try it, the spokes in the wheels do not scan in :) ), so I did two poses and printed them both. Kids mom has one at home, and one on her desk at work.

I don't mean to denigrate your work, but is this the type of quality I can expect from a hand held scanner? There is no definition in the faces. Even at 6 inches, I would hope to see facial features that anyone could recognize the people in the model. To me, it's just a blob.

Said it before... but, when you do a 3D scan there is a *lot* of post-processing to do. The more detail you want the more processing/clean-up required.
