Very helpful Marquis. Thanks for making all these videos. I know it can't be easy to take the time with your studys to plan, shoot, and edit these. I've watched most of yours (maybe all of them) and look forward to what you come out with next. Great job.

Love the videos. They are the reason I got the Robo 3d R1 Plus a few week ago when I was looking to buy a second 3d printer.

You seem pretty knowledgeable I heard that one of the things to put on the bed to have good adhesion to the print is Blue painters tape is this true? and if so do i need to cover the whole bed so all nine leveling points touch tape or just the area of the print. I know about hairspray glue sticks and sticky mats . which to you is the best?

Have enjoyed many of your helpful videos and they have been really helpful.
Have printed about 20 parts with no problem
I am printing all parts necessary to install cable chain, E3D-V6, full graphics display upgrades.
I changed nozzle to .8mm and printed the 38 links now trying to print Thingiverse 696183 X carriage and having a problem.
The Robo auto levels fine and makes contact with the bed at all points, but then starts printing about 3-5mm up in the air above the print bed. Using Cura

    Thanks in advance

Sounds like the offset is off. If it is making contact at all points then check your G-Code for an M565 and see what number follow the command.

these are fantastic, thank you. couldn't figure out hot to get the nuts of the z-axis limiter switches back into the x-axis assembly once removed. So I disassembled the cover , unscrewed the limiters and popped them back on with the print head removed, then screwed back on. finally back up and running, thx man

Thanks Marquis for all your videos,
They did decide me to invest in a ROBO3D R1+. It did look like the easiest machine to start with. At least you've made it look like it. ;)
I've just ordered a E3D V6 and I'm already stressing out as it will be my first time for that kind of upgrade on a machine like this....
I'm not clear If I'll have to update the control board bios/software? If yes, that would be even more stressful. :)
Already thinking of upgrading it and it's still printing my first object. :D

hi everyone. I have a problem with my printer. It's starting to print well but after a quarter on the inch up a printing head falls into the print (or not going up fast enough). And one more, is it right that Z axis moves up and down when Y-axis is in progres (does it meen that printing is going on the angle?) Thanks for any help

R1 with integrated lead screws is pretty much the plus...minus the expensive custom ramps board and custom thermistor the plus hexagon used :)

    Oh and white leds ;-)

The auto bed leveling video made total sense, because I just had that problem and had no idea what was wrong. Thankfully I had some help from the forum folks and got it resolved. I am totally going to bookmark these videos.

@Marquis Johnson if you ever do one on the RAMPS replacement in an R1+ (replacing the custom one with a standard one) that would be a huge win :)
