Solved M3 Stud Thermistor Question

    Only fan I have now it the one attached to the heatsync.

    Double check your thermistor and wiring but id have to agree kind of sounds like a failing heater

    At that cost you can replace them.anually just because ;)

    Put new 30 watt heater and new thermistor and it's doing the same thing. Suggestions??? Temp just hovers around 10 under temp. RRRRRRRRrrrr.

    :)It started working again. I did a PID and it gave me a temp error. This led me to do a M999, reconnect, and I ran a PID again. It connected and ran the PID at 240 I put in just like that (no under heating). I entered the results and then did an M500 to save. So weird, but I don't know if it was a connection issue or an error that wasn't being cleared out, etc. At least I'm back in business for now. I'll keep you posted if anything changes.

    Now on to my bed leveling issue, but I'll wait until next week for that.

    If you use the Flash EPROM (which is why the M500 is there) then that was probably the issue.
    I would not suggest using it if you are still tuning the printer. Once you have it dialed in a stable then go for it.
