Lead Screw Upgrade Kit

Just a quick update on this. Robo Tech (Kevin) talked me through the firmware update and everything is good!! Great service from Robo 10/10 for customer service!!

Kevin assisted me on some issues I was having early on as well.
I eventually took my machine to their shop and got to meet them and shake hands and look over their shoulder while they worked. Was a nice experience.

I was lucky enough to live within a 2 hour drive so it was handy. I feel for you being so far away.

 

Just wanted to bookmark this video here that shows how to replace the leadscrew in an integrated Nema 17 setup. I am pondering taking a standard Nema 17 apart and seeing if we can add the leadscrew to it. Would be cool! Anyway, this video should help if your leadscrew gets bent, not long enough or too long, or if you want to change the pitch of the ones you have.
