Hello everyone. I have an issue where support material is not showing from a model that I modified in Sketchup.
Its just a basic case for some circuit. I have added a overhang.
Now when I exported it back to a STL file and check the layer view in Mattercontrol I do not see the support material being generated. The support material settings are correct as I have opened other files from thingiverse and it appears in the layer preview.
    Below is the original model

And here is my modified model
    Case Extended.jpg
I am only new to creating my own models and have no idea how to fix this.
    Any advise?

Answered my own question. In matter control there is a setting for "Support Everywhere". If this is not selected supports are only generated for parts as long as they are touching the bed.
