You made sure after you moved the firmware to load the u8glib into the libraries again ?

I did. I actually did it from Arduino/sketch/include library and clicked on the zip file. It seemed to work perfectly. And if you look in contributing libraries it shows U8glib

@Shane Simino Include your configuration.h file so @Geof can look at it.

@Geof notice how I volunteered you to verify he didn't miss something in configuration.h? :D

LOL! Ok. Now I feel really stupid. How? It won't allow me to upload an ini file. I feel like I must have done something wrong with U8glib. All the youtube videos say just do this, but kind of breeze past it. That's what makes my screen work.

I unzipped the U8glib arduino v1.18.1 and put the whole folder in the arduino library folder. I went to sketch and included the zip file from my downloads. Is that wrong? Is it making it look in the wrong place? Then I commented the old controller and un-commented the rep rap full graphic, saved and uploaded. The screen blinks out while uploading and comes back on. Nothing. Here's another snapshot. reprap.PNG

lol blind leading the blind @WheresWaldo lol. I use the xxl :D. I like it better lol! The config file you have looks ok. The U8 i always keep on my desktop in the zip file, then I add the zip file to the libraries with the drop down in arduino like you described.

ok to be more precise, I leave it in the zip file, then in arduino I go to sketch, include library, add .ZIP library. Then I verify and upload :D

So you don't manually copy the unzipped files into the arduino library?

And what version? When I went to the google download link, they seem to be older versions. I got this one from following a different link on a youtube video. Youtube can be dangerous.

OMG! It works! I am an idiot. After I made my last changes the only thing I didn't try was swapping the cables. My board wasn't marked, so it was a guessing game. I had tried the swap thing a couple times, but not after the last change and it works. Thank you guys so much for your help!

Hey alright!!!! Glad to hear you got it squared away man. Enjoy! The LCD is a nice upgrade and regardless if it is the FULL or the XXL, it opens up more options to you.
