    R1+ Got a e3d V6 and Titan this week.

Printed a stock spool holder today in PETG because I can't find mine.

Printer is printing really good right now, and simplify3d's raft and supports are so easy to remove with PETG.

Simplify used to have a crappy raft, but somewhere along the way they improved it :)
    Looks good.

It does look good, but might I make a suggestion for next time you model something like this. At the bottom edge of the cap that goes on the top of the spindle had you chamfered or filleted that edge, you could have printed it without support. Saves both time and money. At least for the spindle.

I think he used the one off of Thingiverse from Allted. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:255229 Just an STL. That is an excellent point though. If you are going to print a new one...that is the time to make some improvements. This should work for him since now that he printed it his lost one will magically appear momentarily. That is how life works for me. :)

But if he used the solidworks file Mike provided he could add the fillets. I hate working with STL files.

Lol I didn't see the solidworks file, and didn't look just printed the one Danzca6 posted. No need to be sorry nothing wrong with the one I printed, used some extra material not a big deal.

Does anyone have a file for the little nubbin filament guide that comes on the R1+ it fits in the slot on top of the printer and guides the filament so it doesn't rub down the sides of the slot. My R1 never had one but it seems to work well on the R1+.

Thanks, strange enough I haven't used an oiler in months since I put the titan on my original R1.

I'm almost out of PLA though.. so maybe thats it. I have been printing in Esun PETG, Esun PLA PRO(Pla+ ) and PrintinZ PLA/PHA.

@KTMDirtFace - Could you share the SImplify3D PETG settings you used?

What red PETG did you use? I've tried Inland's red and it's more of a pink than a deep red.

That is ESUN Magenta PETG, its more of a transparent PINK. not really red at all.

I just ordered some ESUN Solid Red PETG though.

Settings... do you want the whole file or just the basics?

For the print above, basically PLA settings modified a tiny bit.

    Layer Height: 0.300
    Top Solid Layers: 3
    Bottom Solid Layers: 3
    outline/perimiter: 2

    Infill: 40%

    Nozzle: 240 deg
    Bed: 80 deg

    Cooling fan on at 60%

    Printed at 60mm/s

some say the Inland is just rebranded eSun. Transparent pinkish is how mine prints, I was hoping you had more of a redish color. If your using PLA style settings except for temp, I'll start there. Last time I tried PETG (not on Robo) I had the terrible stringing and gooey nozzle some people get. I'll have to try it again.

I ordered this yesterday to try. Says solid red opaque.

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B012ULUSQW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

If its like their black I imagine its a shiny solid color. But not translucent and not pink/magenta.

EDIT: I calibrated my extruder when I changed to the titan, and that solved most of my PETG oozing. I do get oozing before a print and a couple strings here and there but not bad. I just grab the ooze with tweezers right when print starts and its fine after that.

Forgot to mention my extrusion multiplier is set to 1.0 for every filament now in Simplify3d.

I think it defaults to 0.9 for PLA and 1.0 for ABS. Since I calibrated my E Steps 0.9 leaves gaps in my top layer lines.. 1.0 is perfect now for everything that I use ( PLA, PLA/PHA, PLA+, PETG )

I'll keep an eye out for that Red. I really don't like the Magenta one when printed. Looks so much better on the spool. I've always wondered why everyone seems to use 0.9 extrusion multiplier for PLA. What you did is what I would expect to be proper and that is using 1.0 for all filaments.

I'm 6'6" and can't stand standard 30" desks. Making these feet to raise my desk about 2 3/4" inches. ( I should probably go higher but I printed the wrong design file I made and they take forever to print )

    Robo is printing awesome

    Esun Black PLA Pro(Pla + )

    215 Deg
    80 bed
    0.3mm layer height.
    40% infil

Time for one foot 12 hours LOL.

ESUN Solid Red PETG showed up today.

I havn't taken it out of the plastic or had time to print with it yet.

    TOP: Some random ABS
    Middle: ESUN Solid Red PETG
    Bottom: ESUN Magenta PETG

So it looks solid but not a vibrant red, more of a light red. I'll see how it prints soon as I run out the rest of the orange I have loaded.
