I just discovered my extruder fan hanging. How does this go back on? I don't see any screws.

Is that a stock shroud? Normally on the newer printers that and the parts fan mount are one and mounted with the bolts that hold the greg's wade onto the carriage. Was that one designed to just hug the hotend like the E3D V6 shrouds? Since I don't see a hole on the bracket it is interesting to know how it was held on. Maybe screwed into the fins of the heatsink?

The body of the plastic part the fan is on slides up over the the finned section of the hotend.

    Probably 3D printed.
You can tape it in place and print another or call Robo and have them send you one.

Here is another, I don't use it nor have links to the one that ships with it

Now the extruder is clogged. I took it out where I could see it and its clogged internally. Heating it up is not helping. I want to remove the extruder clear out the printer to work on it but cant figure out how to pull apart the wire connectors to release it. Do you push in on those little tabs on the connectors and pull or what?

Not having the fan running can cause that. Are you not able to print a replacement fan holder? If not, send me your address in a PM and I can send you one.

Oh, great idea Ryan. By printing this as a replacement you can optionally upgrade to a dual fan whenever you're ready.
