Unresolved robo r1 plus turns off

    start the print and auto level plate in progress. Printer turns off.

    Any errors in the GCode terminal or are you printing from an SD card?

    printing file from folder. don't about GCode. where do I find this? I've printed the file before

    Can't guess because I am not looking at your setup, but if you are printing over USB then the software you use to print will have that information somewhere.

    if the printer shuts down, the fan on the bottom is likely failed. Please verify that the fan on the bottom right front corner of your machine is running.

    Exactly the cause on mine. the fan underneath died. ( It could have also just come unplugged somehow. )

    There is your error:


    <-Error:Extruder switched off. Temperature fell too much during print! [293.416]

    <-Error:printer stopped due to errors. Fix the error and use M999 to restart. (Temperature is reset. Set it after restarting) [293.416]

    Either the thermistor is loose and moving around (which makes the temperatures jump) or it is faulty or (less likely) the wires are loose..

    Yes indeedy thermistor or wiring issue. Misunderstood printer shuts off :)
