Can any one tell me the requirement for the power supply? I see there's two red wire and two black wire out of the power supply unit. Any know the voltage and current of the PSU?

    Thanks

I measured 12V going into the board. Does that seems normal? I am still debugging printer's temperature problem and suspect power supply problem. Because thermistors seems fine.

both are 12v and a total of 30 amps max

if i remember correctly on of the two is for the heated bed and the other is for the rest.

12v is correct. What makes you think it's a power supply issue? Does the voltage drop off when you put on a load?

Well I just found out the thermistor is intermittently shorted. After I fix that, everything is fine and dandy now. So PSU is not to blame.

I would be still looking to replace PSU one day. If I can find a very quiet one. Can anyone recommend one?

    Thanks, Mike, for asking.

You will likely find more success replacing the fan in the current PS with a quieter one than in finding a quieter PS.

    Good luck finding a 60mm x 10mm fan that's quiet though

I stick with Mean Well PSUs of I'm swapping anything out. Here is the one I got for my Robo. I paid just under $40 at the time, but it is also nice that the fan only runs when needed. So no extra noise. http://a.co/f6VD3h0 When it comes to a PSU I have no issue with investing a few more dollars for quality. Have had too many cheap ones fail on my over the years.
