Hello from Elkhorn, WI

    I got my R1+Plus last January and have been following this forum regularly with great interest. I have made some hardware mods but mainly focus on the Marlin Firmware Upgrade 1.1.0 RCBugFix (Post RC7) (For R1 & R1+PLUS) thread. I tend to print objects that are challenging and then bring it work, needling my colleague to do the same on his non-Robo3d printer. Good times!!!!

    Elkorn has one of my favorite car shows every year. Welcome to the forum! The new firmware is awesome. Are you using ABL or MESH? If not MESH, you should try it.

    Yes, the new firmware is definitely better than the stock. It didn't take me long to upgrade and of course I had to get S3D. I opted for MESH and it has been great. I was not a fan of the printer doing ABL prior to each print.

    Yes it is at the fairgrounds the first weekend of August or somewhere around there.
