    I have an early build Robo3D - no upgrades except for a replacement extruder. The printer has been fine until today. When preheating the bed, the temp climbs to something around 40 - 48 degrees than stops heating and starts cooling. I have the added fan over the controller. Despite the fan, the poly fuse for the bed gets quite hot. The added fan seems a bit sluggish. No errors are logged and the console shows:
    <-ok T:26.3 /0.0 B:49.5 /55.0 T0:26.3 /0.0 @:0 B@:127
    ->M105
    <-ok T:26.4 /0.0 B:49.4 /55.0 T0:26.4 /0.0 @:0 B@:127
    ->M105
    <-ok T:26.3 /0.0 B:49.2 /55.0 T0:26.3 /0.0 @:0 B@:127
    ->M105
    <-ok T:26.3 /0.0 B:48.9 /55.0 T0:26.3 /0.0 @:0 B@:127
    ->M105
    <-ok T:26.2 /0.0 B:48.7 /55.0 T0:26.2 /0.0 @:0 B@:127
    ->M105
    <-ok T:26.3 /0.0 B:48.7 /55.0 T0:26.3 /0.0 @:0 B@:127
    ->M105
    <-ok T:26.3 /0.0 B:48.4 /55.0 T0:26.3 /0.0 @:0 B@:127
    ->M105
    <-ok T:26.3 /0.0 B:48.2 /55.0 T0:26.3 /0.0 @:0 B@:127
    ->M105
    ... and so on until the bed reaches room temperature.
    Reheating the bed yields the same results - rises to around 48 degrees and drops.

    My feeling is it is the poly fuse, but can anyone suggest anything different? If it is the fuse, is there a replacement part number someone can suggest?

    Thanks,
    Lew Palmer

    Hi let, if that cooling fan is running well that fuse won't be that hot, that said a new ramps board is cheap enough that's where I'd start after verifying the fan is blowing on the ramps with good power.

    That snippet of the console log does not have any errors. You must read the entire log if you wan to have any chance of finding the error :)

    It may be that there are not any. If so then it is likely the RAMPS board and they are (as @danzca6 mentioned) cheap. The original beta and the R1 can use a standard RAMPS 1.4 from anywhere. The R1+ needs a custom one from Robo (or you convert it as @Geof documented in a thread).
