Unanswered Any mods to improve feeding filament on stock hexagon?

    Hi all.

    I,m looking for minor mods or suggestions to make it easier to thread in the filament. I find it tricky and double that for my son.

    Right now I’m only printing PLA, although I’d like to try something more flexible as well, if that makes a difference.

    There are some threads on flexible filaments so you might want to review those.
    Not sure how to suggest making it easier to feed in filament.
    I simply remove the spring loaded screws, pop open the feed and push the filament in
    Then close the feed and reload the springs


    Some folks get by with just pulling the feed open against the springs, but I prefer to know the filament is seated.
