Arduino upgrade and now stepper motors will not engage...

    I have only had one Mega fail on me and it was a more straightforward failure (it would not respond via USB).
    Anything is possible, glad you got it sorted out :)

    Are you sure it is the same firmware on both, Robo does some weird stuff in Configuration.h with axis inversion.

    yeah, it is the same firmware on both. I made sure that I uploaded all of the same files to the board so it was identical in setup and configuration. I also have had similar issues with RoBo's config.h file being weird, that is why I have stuck with this one that Mark helped me with a while ago; worked ever since until the new board. Down the road I may purchase another one from a more reputable source and try it again. Thanks for all of the help!

    My first one would not respond via USB...so I went to the nicer board and another fail...hopefully the third down the road will be the charm, thanks again!
