Are metric rods worth it ?

    Hello all , I am getting the y-axis upgrade and since I will be tearing apart my printer I am wondering if I should upgrade to the Metric rods ?

    I have looked at the metric rod thread and there is not much of a definitive guide to parts that work the best and where to get them.

    Is it worth the effort ???

    I don't really think so. 5/16 is fine especially if you use the correct layer height values

    Yea, likewise. I actually bought all of the junk months ago, but after tweaking things have not seen any reason to pursue it.
