Are there any command-line 3d printer hosts out there?

Basically, I'm planning on getting some steppers, some electronics, and some other stuff, and control it with my laptop to make an advent-calendar-type-thing. I plan on having it run on an Arduino/Ramps kit I've found cheap-ish.

I know there's Pronsole, and it works, just not completely. Just wondering if anyone knew of other options out there.
