    Hi,

Got my printer yesterday and followed the getting started guide (http://guide.robo3dprinter.com)

I have adjusted the screws (for Z and X axis) and the Z axis.

When issuing commands the printer responds accordingly (+1mm, +10mm,+50mm all axis), extrusion/retract and heat extruder also work in Repetier Host (V0.9c) (slicer v0.9.10b)

But when running a job after load, slice and heating nothing happens... i've waited hours.

Running windows 8 with uac disabled (driver installed successfully)

Hey BjG, so you slice and you're already connected to the printer. You've clicked "Home-All" in repetier to home the bot, and then click the "Play" or "Run" button. What happens then, nothing? And is there any error or anything in the console at the bottom of the software?

Hey BjG, does your Printer settings in Repetier look something like this: http://prntscr.com/1mlr2e
And can you get me what the console says, but with the "Commands" thing unchecked, where it says "Show in Log:". As well as ACK unchecked, so just Infos, Warning, Errors, checked (Auto Scroll if you wish). And also, I've connected to the printer fine and all before, and clicked print and nothing happen, noticing the printer is not on (Even though you can connect to it, it gets minimal power from your computer). Let me know!

Ok, I know the issue. This happened with my Printrbot Simple, the Restart on Connect needs to be Disabled, thats a new feature to Repetier and hasn't been added to the guide yet.

Installed reperierhost 0.85 and tried "run" again, no difference still not printing

uncommented 2 lines from the gcode:

;M190 S5 ; wait for bed temperature to be reached (dont have a heated bed)

    and

;G28 ; home all axes (already done that as init)

    and now it's printing

my guess is that it was waiting for the bed to reach 5/0 degrees

The calibration print turned out all right i guess

There is some droop at the top of the long bridge and also some "curly strings" on the inside

The top square is a bit deform in the bottom, i think this is because of temperature

    Printed with settings:

    First layer 190 C
    Other layers 180 C
    0.3 mm layer height

strange then that it's waiting for the heat bed...

the top is probably deformed because it was printet to fast.
If you have no cooling fan you can change the minimum print time per layer.

Weird it was waiting for a heat bed. In Repetier and Slicer you ahve the heatbed disabled?

when typing "0" (zero) it reset to 5, so i assumed this was ok, seems it was not.

but when when pressing the down button and adjusting it to "0" (zero) it accepted the changes

i no longer have to edit the gcode
