I'm having troubles with ribbing from the bottom to the top of my prints. Anyone have any solutions?

1 double check all belt tensions and
    2 slow down you printing

There will be a dozen more suggestions coming from other people.

    Exactly what printer?

If you have an R1 or a Beta (not an R1+) then the leadscrew upgrade is the only certain solution.

I thought that as well Mark, but then saw in his picture that he doesn't have any couplers. So I assumed he had the R1+ or at least the leadscrew upgrade. With that...it is sad to see banding still. I wonder if the leadscrews are bent like the first batches were from Robo.

    (good eye)

That is possible, but they would need to be a long way off to affect it since the smooth rods should hold it firm and correct for X/Y movement. It seems too regular of a pattern to be over extrusion. Something else is off. I would calibrate the Z steppers. One of them may be out of kilter. The R1+ uses two different ones... If one gets out of tune you will get less (or more) turns on one side

I was thinking the other day why Robo went this way. I think it might be more problematic because of the driver setting being different. I wonder if that is why here more ABL issues with the R1+. Not sold on their move to using two drivers for Z yet.

I never sorted out the why since almost every other FDM printer uses a single Z driver (for simplicity) and those that use the RAMPS use that extra channel for a second extruder.

I have no idea why they went that way.
